OCTOBER 11, 2005 - SPECIAL MEETING

MINUTES

Authority Chairman Jon Fleagle called the special meeting of the Waynesboro Borough Authority to order at 7:30 p.m. with the following in attendance:

Borough Authority Members – Jon Fleagle, Allen Stine, Lee Layman and Richard Starliper. Christopher Snively was absent.

          Borough Staff – S. Leiter Pryor, Director of Utilities

          Others – Benjamin Greenawalt

2006 WATER AND SEWER BUDGET REVIEW: Leiter Pryor presented an overview of the proposed capital item expenditures for the 2006 water and sewer budgets. After some discussion, he was directed to incorporate them into the draft 2006 Budget.

Chairman Fleagle led the review of the proposed 2006 water and sewer budgets. Leiter Pryor indicated that projected revenues for year-end (2005) were slightly higher than budgeted. He also indicated that projected year-end expenses were down. Mr. Fleagle proceeded with a line item by line item review of both the proposed water and sewer budgets. Several minor revisions were suggested, and Leiter Pryor was instructed to have the revisions ready for review during the regular WBA meeting next week.

The Authority also requested that Mr. Pryor obtain the capital water projects listing and associated costs from the Borough Engineering Department to be incorporated into the revised budget for review next week.

Having no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 9:16 p.m., on a Starliper/Layman motion, which passed unanimously.
