PUBLIC HEARING RE: MODIFICATIONS TO 2001 CDBG PROGRAM

Council President C. Harold Mumma called the public hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. with the following in attendance:

Borough Council Members – Richard George, Lorena Newcomer, John Cook, C. Harold Mumma and Stephen Monn (Charles McCammon was absent)

          Mayor Louis M. Barlup, Jr.

          Borough Staff – Lloyd R. Hamberger, II, Borough Manager

                     Denny Benshoff, Maintenance Superintendent

                     Dan Sheffler, Zoning-Code Enforcement Officer

                     Kevin Grubbs, Head of Engineering Services

                     D. Lloyd Reichard, II, Borough Solicitor

Mr. Mumma stated the purpose of the hearing was to provide an opportunity for citizens to comment on proposed changes to the distribution of 2001 Community Development Block Grant funds. He explained that the Borough intends to add a new project described as ADA Improvements to Library. The Borough will be moving $8,000 from the existing Administration line item into the new ADA Improvements line item.

Public comments were requested – there were none.

The hearing adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
