Parks in Waynesboro

NOTICE:  The restrooms at Memorial Park and Rotary Park have been winterized and closed for the season.

There are six areas in the Borough designated as parks.  These areas are maintained by the Borough’s Maintenance Department.  Activities in the parks are governed by the Recreation Board and Waynesboro Borough Council.

The following are designated as park areas in the Borough of Waynesboro:

  • Franklin Street Park
  • Memorial Park
  • Mt. Airy Avenue Park
  • Municipal Golf Course (leased by “The Morning Tee Box”)
  • Northside Park/Pool
  • Rotary Park

The Borough’s Shade Tree Commission encourages tree donations in honor, or in memory, of loved ones and family members.  Trees can be planted on Main Street or at any of the Borough’s parks listed above.  For additional information on donating a tree, see the following form:
