ORDINANCE NO. _____
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 688 OF THE BOROUGH OF WAYNESBORO, AS AMENDED, PRESCRIBING TRAFFIC AND PARKING REGULATIONS IN THE BOROUGH OF WAYNESBORO, PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REPEALING CERTAIN ORDINANCES.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and it is enacted and ordained by the authority of the same that Ordinance No. 688, adopted March 25, 1970, is amended in the manner following:
ARTICLE III, SECTION 5. Parking Prohibited in Certain Locations is hereby amended to add as follows:
1. East Main Street: Beginning 153.0’ from the east curb line of South Enterprise Avenue along the south side of East Main Street/S.R. 16 and extending 200.0’ eastward to the west side of the crosswalk at the main entrance to the Waynesboro Mall.
2. East Main Street: Beginning 20.0’ from the east curb line of Sunnyside Avenue along the north side of East Main Street/S.R. 16 and extending 145.0’ eastward.
3. West Main Street: Beginning 20.0’ from the west curb line of Fairview Avenue along the south side of West Main Street/S.R.0016 and extending 146.0’ westward.
4. South Potomac Street: Beginning on the south side of the crosswalk at the intersection of West Second Street along the east side of South Potomac Street/S.R. 316 and extending 200.0’ southward.
5. South Potomac Street: Beginning 20.0’ from the south curb line of Gay Street along the east side of South Potomac Street/S.R. 316 and extending 180.0’ southward.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 10. Special Use Zones Established; Parking Otherwise
Prohibited is hereby amended to add as follows:

1. South Potomac Street East Beginning 106’ from Fire 24 Hours
the north curb line of Personnel Everyday
West Second Street Only
& extending 40’ north.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 10. Special Use Zones Established; Parking Otherwise Prohibited is hereby deleted as follows:

Second Street to the Personnel Everyday
South Potomac Fire Only
Station.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 12. No Parking, Standing or Stopping is hereby deleted as follows:

1. South Potomac Street East Beginning at Gay Street 24 Hours
(Alley No. 1 South) and Everyday
extending 101’ southward.
ARTICLE V, SECTION 3. Public Parking Lot Restriction is hereby amended to add as follows:
PUBLIC PARKING LOT RESTRICTION
1. Rotary Parking Lot Parking prohibited for any vehicles over 5 Ton Gross Maximum Vehicle Weight (GMVW).
ARTICLE V, SECTION 3. Public Parking Lot Restriction is hereby deleted as follows:
PUBLIC PARKING LOT RESTRICTION
1. Rotary Parking Lot Parking prohibited for any vehicles over 5,000 pounds Gross Maximum Vehicle Weight (GMVW).
SECTION I: Repealer. All provisions of previous ordinances of the Borough of Waynesboro, which are contrary to this ordinance, are expressly repealed.
SECTION II: Savings Clause. In all other respects, the Traffic and Parking Regulations Ordinance of the Borough of Waynesboro shall remain as previously enacted and ordained.
SECTION III: Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
