ORDINANCE NO.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WAYNESBORO, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, fixing the tax rate for the fiscal year 2010.

            BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the Council of the Borough of Waynesboro, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:

            Section 1. That the tax rate be and the same is hereby levied on all real property within the said Borough subject to taxation for Borough purposes for the fiscal year 2010 as follows:

            Tax rate for general Borough purposes, the sum of seventeen and eighteen hundredths (17.18) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation.

            Tax rate for street lights, the sum of two and three tenths (2.3) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation. Said revenues of the street light tax to be deposited in a separate Street Light Fund and expended from same for the purpose of street light expenses within the Borough of Waynesboro.

            Tax rate for street improvements, the sum of three (3.0) mills on each dollar of assessed valuation. Said revenues will be deposited in a separate Street Improvement Fund and expended from same for street improvements within the Borough of Waynesboro or debt retirements associated thereto.

            Section 2. That any Ordinance, or part of Ordinance, conflicting with this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed insofar as the same affects this Ordinance.
